Very seldom do i blog about my netball girls. But yesterday was a really good day on the courts. I believed that morale was not as good as last year because this year AMK was cut off from the Northzone into the very strong Southzone.
But yesterday the girls really played their hearts and lungs out against Raffles Girls' to lost by 9 goals! Not bad considering playing against the national champions! Although our shooting wasn't as good as usual, the girls managed to keep up with the opponents will hard running, good confidence, taking challanges really strongly and lots of support for each other! Kudos to the attackers for being tactically disciplined and lots of effort goes without say for the tireless defenders! A netball friend of mine, also a talent ID who was there yesterday said "Your defenders do not have the height, but the things they did today were awesome!"
Well done AMK girls, keep up the good work and i am really proud of you all! Remember, we are the unseeded underdogs! One game at the time and push all the way!
Evergreen C girls also came up with an unexpected result by drawing with Sengkang 12 -12. Lets see how far we can push in this group! Remember the deal girls! Deal or no deal??
